Terms of Service

By accessing or using Twine (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We may revise these terms at any time; continued use constitutes your acceptance of any changes.

Twine provides an AI-powered relationship coaching platform for couples. The Service includes guided conversation sessions, communication exercises, progress tracking, and related features.

Twine is NOT a licensed therapy service and does not replace professional mental health care. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or emergency services.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Twine. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Ensuring your partner has consented to participating in a shared Twine space.

You must not share your account with anyone other than your designated partner.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Service.
• Submit content that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person, including your partner.

Twine offers a Free tier and a Premium subscription at €19/month. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase if you are unsatisfied.

All content, features, and functionality of Twine — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by Twine and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit; by submitting it, you grant us a limited licence to use it solely to operate and improve the Service.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for the outcome of any relationship decisions made based on use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Twine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
